Stevie Awards: Women in Business Finalists Includes Hubspan CEO
Posted by Jim Flack on October 20, 2011
It’s always rewarding to see Hubspan recognized for an award, but this one holds a special distinction because it honors women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run – worldwide. Against that backdrop, we’re happy to say that our very own president and CEO, Trisha Gross, has been named a finalist in this year’s Stevie Award for Women in Business.
For those who aren’t familiar with it, the Stevie Awards are hailed as the world’s premier business awards and 2011 marks the 8th year running for the Women in Business honor. Previous winners include execs from Tibco, Salesforce.com and Accenture – so, it’s good company to keep.
Finalists were selected from a pool of 1,300 entries based of the high average scores they received during more than a month of preliminary judging. Trisha’s outstanding leadership at Hubspan, which has lead to a 98% customer retention rate, and strong business growth for the past four consecutive quarters played a key role in the decision. Outside of her duties at Hubspan, she is also a dedicated mother, avid mentor for UW Foster School of Business students, Little League Umpire and PAWS shelter volunteer.
Congrats Trisha! We will be with you in spirit at the gala event in New York on Friday, November 11 where winners will be announced.
