Integration-as-a-Service Creates

Hubspan to Present at Computing Technology Industry Association’s Exclusive “Breakaway” Conference in Orlando

Peter Hurtubise Invited to Show How Integration-as-a-Service Creates Measurable Customer Value

Seattle, Wash. – July 31, 2006 – Hubspan, Inc., a leading provider of Integration-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions for business-to-business integration, announced that Peter Hurtubise, senior vice president of marketing and business development, will present at an Electronic Industry Data Exchange (EIDX) session at the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (CompTIA’s) annual conference.

Mr. Hurtubise will provide an overview of cross-enterprise integration evolution, then define a new phase — Integration-as-a-Service — differentiating it from middleware-based approaches. He will offer real-world examples involving companies successfully implementing customer-facing integration, discuss how this involves a fundamentally different value proposition than supply-side integration, and share specific results. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, August 2, 10:00 to 12:30 p.m ET.

“I’m delighted to share our vision of IaaS as a strategic element in a company’s Software-as-a-Service strategy,” said Peter Hurtubise. “Tangible value, including customer loyalty and increased revenues, are achievable when business integration delivers real-time order status, product availability, delivery schedules, and pricing, yet this presents greater challenges than supplier-side integration strategies. I look forward to showing how IaaS can drive growth and reduce operating costs.”
