Hubspan a Finalist in WTIA Service Provider of the Year Award

They say the company you keep says a lot about you. I sincerely hope that’s true when it comes to the Washington Technology Industry Association’s awards. For the second year in a row, we’ve made it into the finalist slot for Service Provider of the Year. Last year, the winner of the category was Amazon Web Services. This year, we share the finalist ranking with Concur. Both are leading tech companies in Seattle.
We applied for the award based on two major releases over 2010. One, the launch of a new product suite called WebSpan Connect, and two, for the release of Security 360, a comprehensive security-focused platform update that was also part of our ongoing compliance to the PCI DSS mandate.
The WTIA Industry Achievement Awards are considered a prestigious award in Washington State, as they are given to organizations and individuals who best demonstrate technology, service innovation and excellence. And since Washington State is home to so many established and up and coming tech companies, the field of competition is strong.
This finalist ranking is further validation of the innovative work we are doing with our cloud-based platform and B2B integration solutions. We lead the industry when it comes to cloud security and compliance. It helps that we’ve been doing this for a few years, compared to so many new cloud start-ups. We also have the advantage of working with organizations that take security seriously, such as Boeing, Visa and IBM.
As in past years, the awards ceremony will be held at the funky Showbox SODO in downtown Seattle on February 24. Hopefully, this year the audience noise will not drown out the presentations and speakers as occured last year. And, as we did last year, Hubspan will have a group of employees there to cheer when our name is called.
