Upcoming Cloud and Integration Events
Posted by Integration Man on July 11, 2011
While the event season typically cools off in the summer months, there is a lot of activity in the cloud and integration arena the next couple of months, with both online and live events on the docket. Upcoming events include the Cloud Control Conference in Boston, a NetSuite Webinar on EDI Integration in the Cloud, and a Webinar focused on Order-to-Invoice Integration for the Ariba Network.
Here at Hubspan, we kicked off our Summer Webinar Series with our June Webinar titled, “Get off the VAN and into B2B Cloud Integration,” featuring Jim Cantrell of RetailEDI, who discussed how to move from traditional EDI envrionments to more agile, cost-effective and business process-based B2B cloud integration. You can view the recorded Webinar.
This week on July 13 we will be featured in a NetSuite hosted Webinar on “EDI Integration in the Cloud.” In this Webcast, we will discuss how to extend NetSuite implementation to a B2B ecosystem with the cloud, as well as continue our theme of how traditional EDI does not provide the business value or interoperability needed in today’s value chain. Register for this Webinar today!
July 28 marks the third session in our series and features Dave Heflin, Senior Manager of Supplier Solutions for Ariba. In this session, titled “Order-to-Invoice Buyer Integration on the Ariba Network,” Dave will talk about the Order-to-Invoice business process via the Ariba Network, while Hubspan experts will illustrate how companies are using integration with the Network to drive greater customer retention, revenue and order accuracy.
In August, join us for a Webcast about “Build vs. Outsource: Top 5 Criteria to Consider for Business Integration”. This vendor-agnostic Webinar is based on real-world CIO criteria and analyst studies to help participants deal with this build versus outsource question. Experts will discuss key areas such as IT core competence, time to market, time to value, business impact, security, compliance and more. We’ll also explore side by side cost comparisons of a build versus outsource model.
Hubspan is also honored to be speaking at two conferences this summer. Margaret Dawson will be presenting at the Cloud Control Conference on July 21 in Boston. Her presentation is titled “How to Avoid the Most Common Cloud Computing ‘Gotchas.’” In September she will also speak in Austin at ITExpo West on September 14. She will be presenting at the Cloud Computing Platform track – “Which “aaS” is Right For You.”
