Hubspan Launches Integration Solution for Biotech Industry

Posted by on February 9, 2011

Hubspan has been working with organizations in the biotech, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries for years, and we currently have over 2,000 community connections from this market transacting across our B2B integration cloud. Today, we took our relationship with this industry one step further by launching the WebSpan Customer Integration for Biotech solution.

The solution includes integration packages for a wide range of eCommerce and eProcurement business processes, such as punchout, purchase order exchange, product availability, inventory management and others.

This is the first of our planned industry solutions designed to help companies in key sectors improve their collaboration and integration with customers and partners.  All solutions will leverage the rich capabilities of our cloud platform but will also provide special services for that industry, such as increased security or community management.  Biotech companies can also leverage our existing connections to leading research institutions and universities, which enable us to implement new integration projects within this community in a matter of weeks and for a cost-effective monthly subscription.

We’ve also seen biotech companies working with us achieve specific quantifiable and qualifiable results through cloud-based customer integration, such as increased customer satisfaction and retention, growth in order size, increased revenues, and improved order accuracy.  Since many biotech firms do not have large IT resources, it often makes sense to outsource to a B2B service provider to achieve strong customer integration.

We’re also hosting a Webinar on this same theme:  Cloud-based Customer Integration for Biotech, scheduled for March 3, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific time.  I hope you’ll join us.
