Hubspan Supports New CSA Cloud Security Certification

Posted by on September 1, 2010

The Cloud Security Alliance today announced that it has opened its certification testing for a new Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK). The CCSK is the industry’s first user certification program for secure cloud computing, and is designed to ensure that a broad range of professionals with responsibility related to cloud computing have a demonstrated awareness of the security threats and best practices for securing the cloud.

Hubspan is a member of the CSA and one of several leading organizations that have supported the CSA’s efforts with the certification and plan to certify employees.  Other industry supporters include eBay, ING, Lockheed Martin, Sallie Mae, Zynga, CA, CaseCentral, HCL Technologies, LogLogic, Fiberlink, McAfee, Novell, Ping Identity, Qualys, Solutionary, Symantec, Trend Micro, Veracode, VeriSign, Vordel, WhiteHat Security and Zscaler.

In the press release, Hubspan’s VP of engineering, Ian Huynh said, “Hubspan is committed to providing a secure and reliable cloud computing environment for business integration and to helping companies follow cloud security best practices, of which the CSA’s CCSK certification is a great example and one we fully support.”

Hubspan has led the integration industry with its cloud security practices and technology.  We adhere to the security mandates under PCI DSS, SAS 70 Type 2, and OWASP compliance regulations, and we recently released our Security 360 platform upgrade that incoporates best-in-class security capabilities.

Discounted pricing of $195 for the CCSK exam is available through Dec 31st; regular pricing at $295 begins January 1st.
