Hubspan Delivers Industry-Leading Cloud Security Features

Posted by on June 22, 2010

Hubspan has talked a lot about cloud security in this blog, and we are committed to helping companies understand what questions to ask and how to ensure your information is secure in the cloud.  We’ve been committed to cloud security since we first built our net native integration platform nearly a decade ago, and thanks to continued innovation in this area and to customers and partners like Boeing, Cisco, Visa and IBM, we deliver cloud integration solutions today that lead the industry in security and reliability.

Today, we took this to another level with the release of our Security 360 features for the WebSpan SaaS Integration Platform.  The Security 360 features enhance Hubspan’s market leadership in the cloud computing industry by strengthening its already robust cloud security capabilities.

This security release extends our existing capability in several key areas, such as key management, cryptography optimization (balancing security & performance), at-rest data encryption, access controls and others.  These are incremental steps that reflect the changing and ever more complex and dangerous security environment. Additionally, Security 360 reflects the on-going adherence to PCI DSS compliance and updates the OWASP 2010 Top Ten Most Critical Web Application Security Risks.

This release comes on the heels of our recent patent award. Earlier this month, Hubspan received a U.S. Patent enabling Cryptographic Key Brokering capabilities to securely translate information between systems having different security management. This is cool.

Hubspan also wants to hear more from you on cloud security and how your company views cloud computing. To join the conversation, take a few minutes and complete this security survey.  We’ll share the results with you, so you can see what your peers are thinking.  And one lucky survey respondent will be picked at random to win a Flip HD camcorder!
