Know Who to Follow: Top Cloud Computing Twitter Accounts

Often times, finding good information on the internet is like picking a snow flake out of an avalanche.  With thousands of websites, blogs, and social media accounts floating around out there on the internet, it’s hard to know where to turn.

There are many renowned experts that love cloud computing and integration solutions as much as we do.  Luckily, these fine people have taken to sharing their insights with the world on Twitter, making it a fantastic place to find great cloud computing information.  Just as long as you know who to follow, that is.

Cloud Computing Experts

David Linthicum – @DavidLinthicum

While he’s not busy being the CTO of Blue Mountain Labs, David Linthicum maintains an active twitter account and regularly blogs about developing trends in the data integration industry.  Definitely a must follow.

 

Phil Wainewright – @philww


Phil Wainewright is another cloud computing all-star.  He often tweets out useful articles written by him and others on everything in the cloud computing world.   He’s also keeps busy with his job as the Vice-President of EuroCloud.

Thomas Bittman – @tombitt

Tom is the VP of Gartner, and also a regular blogger/tweeter about cloud computing happenings.  Follow him for some great insight on the cloud computing industry.

RightScale – @rightscale

If you’re trying to get your fingers dirty with some advanced cloud computing commentary and analysis, Right Scale is the perfect blog for you.

CloudAve – @cloudave

Sometimes all the computer jargon and technical terms can even give us a headache.  Cloud Ave explains cloud computing in a way all of us can understand, and we thank them for it!

Don Dodge – @dondodge

Don Dodge writes a great blog and maintains an active twitter account that often discusses cloud computing, but also focuses on other fascinating aspects of the world of e-commerce. With over 12,000 followers, he’s definitely a popular guy!

Chris Kemp – @kemp

Chris is a leading developer of NASA’s Nebula cloud computing platform, and is currently serving as NASA’s Chief Technology Officer for IT.   Something tells us he might be pretty smart…

Steve Marx- @smarx

If you ever want to know what’s going on within Microsoft’s cloud computing endeavors, follow Steve Marx.  He works with Windows Azure and is always tweeting great info.

Tim Barker – @timbarker

Tim is a self described “cloud computing ninja” (VP, EMEA Marketing) for salesforce.com, a company which knows a thing or two about cloud computing.
