Report Title: B2B Integration and Collaboration: Trading Community Enablement for the Multi-Enterprise Supply Chain
Aberdeen benchmarked the involvement of 130 companies towards B2B Integration and Collaboration initiatives with a specific emphasis on their Trading Community Management related activities. Hubspan is a sponsor of this research, and with Aberdeen, we are offering a complimentary copy of this research for a limited time.
The results Aberdeen obtained confirm many of the metrics and ROI we’ve seen among our customers, who have found B2B Integration quickly becomes a strategic asset for both the IT and business sides of the organization. This is true not only for supply chain management but with other business processes, such as eCommerce, demand chain, advanced EDI, eProcurement, and many others.
Among the findings: Seventy-four (74%) of respondents indicate that B2B Integration and Collaboration is a strategic initiative in their company, and thirty-seven (37%) of companies increased their focus on B2B integration and collaboration during the recent recessionary economy in 2009.
Here are perhaps the five most compelling facts from the research:
- Best-in-Class companies have 17% percent points improvement over All Other companies in customer service level
- Best-in-Class companies have 24% percent point improvement over All Other companies in orders received on-time and complete from suppliers.
- Best-in-Class companies have 50% lower cash to cash cycle time as compared to All Others
- Best-in-Class companies have 1.5 times more customer retention than All Others
- Best-in-Class companies 20% lowered orders that have at least one item out of stock compared to All Others
