Hubspan Named a Leader in B2B Service Provider Evaluation

Hot off the presses is the latest Forrester Wave report: The Forrester WaveTM: B2B Service Providers, Q4 2009, in which Hubspan is named a Leader. Woo hoo!
Some of our top scoring categories are community management, security and data privacy, managed services, road map for the future and industry focus. For all these (and others) we received the highest possible score of 5 out of 5.
We also received a 5.0 for our strategic technology partnerships, particularly our 2009 partnership with IBM and our joint solution, WebSpan.
According to the report, Hubspan is “well positioned for growth considering its integration solution’s recently expanded range.” Additionally, the report stated that “Hubspan scored in the Leader ranks due to its own hosted integration capability and its WebSpan partnership with IBM.”
Hubspan was among the select companies that Forrester invited to participate in this report. This was a vast, comprehensive review of the B2B service provider market, with Forrester looking at 85 different criteria, such as EDI/XML support; integration services, such as enterprise application integration, business process management (BPM) and service oriented architecture (SOA); and hosted managed file transfer.
These analyst reports are a huge amount of work for the vendors and the analysts, but I keep hearing that companies do read them and rely on them. While we aren’t alone in the “Leader’s Wave”, this is further validation of our technology, customer base, partnerships and overall services.
As a private company, we are limited in the financial information we can provide to analysts, and thus our “market presence” dot is quite small. However, our virtual dot in the market is substantial with thousands of companies, millions of transactions and numerous business processes crossing our cloud-based integration platform every day.
