Hubspan Hits a Homerun with PSBJ Best Workplaces Award!
Posted by Margaret Dawson on August 15, 2011
There’s nothing like a sunny night at the baseball field, when a hot dog and cold beer tastes so amazing. And while I do love our Seattle Mariners (yes, even this year), a recent night at Safeco Field was even better, as my fellow Hubspanners and I joined 80 other Washington State companies to receive our award for Washington’s Best Workplaces 2011.
Hubspan was one of just 25 organizations in the mid-sized company category to win based on our work environment, company benefits, and ways we celebrate success and reward great work, among other criteria.
Winners are selected based on the results of an employee survey and a review by a panel of judges. PSBJ receives hundreds of applications every year.
This award comes on top of a similar accolade we received just a couple of months ago from Seattle Business Monthly for being one of Seattle’s Top Companies to Work For!
Yep, we are on a roll.
Hat’s off to the Puget Sound Business Journal, and my bud Jill Hashimoto – event queen at the Mariners, for an event well done.
Oh, and congrats to Hubspan’s Brandon Dow for his 66 mile per hour pitch!

This was an AWESOME way to spend a summer evening! Incidentally, I was pulled after 1/3 inning after giving up 5 runs.
