Al Higginson | Chairman of the Board

Al Higginson, Chairman of the Board, joined Hubspan in 2001. With over 20 years of senior executive and CEO experience in technology-related industries, Higginson uses his extensive leadership skills and experience to help young companies grow and develop. His industry experience spans both private and public companies and includes Internet Services, eCommerce, Multimedia Software and Electronic Publishing. Prior to his work with Internet start-up companies, Higginson spent five years at Sierra On-Line as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

Additional experience includes: President and CEO of Bright Star Technology, President and CEO of Atrieva Corp., and Executive Vice President of ATEX (a division of KODAK). Additionally, Higginson is an entrepreneur and private investor who is presently on the boards of several technology companies, including F5 Networks, (FFIV). Higginson holds a B.S.C. and M.B.A from the University of Santa Clara.

Trisha Gross | President and Chief Executive Officer

Trisha Gross, President and CEO, joined Hubspan in 2000 as member of the executive leadership team. An experienced executive with more than 20 years in the technology and service industries, Gross has a wealth of expertise in ERP and supply chain management, marketing strategy, systems implementation consulting, and client service and support. Throughout her tenure at Hubspan, she has held positions of VP of Client Services, VP of Marketing, and most recently, EVP of Sales, Marketing, and Services. Before joining Hubspan, Gross held senior management positions at a number of growth-oriented software and technology companies. Gross holds a B.S. in engineering from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Thomas J. Cusick | Founder and Managing Director – TAM Capital Management, LLC

Thomas Cusick has focused his entire career on tech-enabled services and software. Prior to founding Tam Capital Partners, Cusick was a managing director at CIBC Capital Partners, where he was responsible for leading the firms’ west coast investments. Cusick has been involved with direct venture investing and secondary acquisitions for over ten years, managed investments in over twenty companies and served on the board of ten software and technology-enabled service companies, including Authoria, Equator (“PXLW”), Hubspan, Portal Player (“PLAY”), Silicon Bandwidth and Wild Tangent.  Cusick holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Lewis S. Edelheit

Dr. Lewis Edelheit retired from GE in December 2001 after a highly successful tenure as GE’s Senior Vice President of Research and Development. His tenure included high technology product introductions throughout all of GE’s businesses, including significant advances in Internet applications, design for Six Sigma quality, e-business initiatives, and the development of Corporate R&D global technology centers.

Other career highlights include numerous successful product introductions, such as digital X-ray and advanced ultrasound medical imagers, high-efficiency turbines for power generation, advanced lighting and electronics-based appliances and weatherable plastics. In addition to Hubspan, Dr. Edelheit is on advisory Boards of the Ford Motor Company Design Institute, NIST’s Advanced Technology Program, the Physics Department of the University of Washington and Harvard Medical and Beth Israel Deaconess Research and Education Institute in Boston. He is also on the Board of Directors of two public corporations, Silicon Graphics and Sonic Innovation.

Thomas S. Huseby | Managing Partner – SeaPoint Ventures

In 1997 Thomas Huseby formed SeaPoint Ventures, a  venture capital firm investing in communications companies in the wireless, broadband and network transactional infrastructure sectors. Prior to SeaPoint, Huseby co-founded and was the first CEO of Metawave Communications Corporation, a manufacturer of cellular infrastructure equipment, and he was the first president and CEO of Innova Corporation, a manufacturer of digital millimeter wave radios. Huseby spent the first seventeen years of his career at Raychem Corporation where he held a variety of executive positions in Europe, South America and the U.S.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Ontela, SNAPin Software and Zumobi, Inc.  He is ex-chairman and currently a board member for Airspan Networks, Hubspan, Modiv Media and SinglePoint and also a board member of Kineto Wireless, Mojix, and Trumba Corporation. In addition to his duties at SeaPoint Ventures, Huseby serves as venture/strategic partner at Oak Investment Partners, Hunt Ventures and Voyager Capital. Tom has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a BSIE from Columbia University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Rory O’Driscoll | Managing Director, Scale Venture Partners

Rory O’Driscoll is a veteran venture capitalist focused on mobile, internet and enterprise software and services.  During his career, O’Driscoll has contributed to the evolution of software-as-service business models at companies such as Frontbridge, Omniture and Placeware. Currently, he sits on the board or directors of Arena, Contivo, Hubspan, Innovion, Mblox, Omniture, PatchLink and Picolight. O’Driscoll was previously an investor in Altra, Connect, EGroups, Frontbridge, Good Technologies, Net6, NetGenesis, OuterBay, Pavilion, Placeware, and Zonelabs. Prior to Scale Venture Partners, he worked in Corporate Development at Bank of America and was founder and CEO of Mercia Ltd., a UK-based manufacturing company. Rory holds a BSc from the London School of Economics.
